Curia Minutes from June 22nd 2007 Review of last meeting minutes Agenda review Baron/Baroness's Report * Mid-Summer's was fun, people were inducted into the Millstone and xxxx, and we have new baronial champions. Seneschal's Report * Baron Bil will be listed in the August Pikestaff as the baronial seneschal. Went through his qualifications and local events. Master Dorio updated us on the 'status' of events. If its listed in Pikestaff, we have to collect wavers and the Foreigner Tax (non member surcharge tax). If not we still need waivers, but if there is no site fee, we don't have to collect the Foreigner Tax Knight Marshal's Report * There are 2 new kits for loaner gear being assembled, with 2 already existing kits. 11 fighters will be going to Pennsic. There is the 'Pryor' fighting team. Keen and Concord practices are official. The Tournament circuit is going on. Web Minister's Report * Stonemarche.com is paid for, courtesy of Colin. It would be good to have people update their online info and pictures. Val will start publishing the Court reports so that we know who got what. It would be nice to have other reports published too. Chronicler's Report * Nothing major is going on. Arastorm suggested a chronicle of each event be made available. We'll see what happens. Colin has started an Event Picture History section on the web site. The Chronicler suggested deputies at events to take pictures. There was also mention of a "this was my memory of the event" web page for anyone that attended And wanted to enter their memories/pictures. Discussion ensures. Fencing Report * Brill is a MiT. A group of fencers has been traveling to Carolinga on a regular basis to get consistent practice. Discussion happened. Practice is still being held at Dartmouth in Knotty crossing. Arts and Science Report * The minister is struggling a little with A and S displays. He has been approached, and has approached folks about someone one taking over the position. It is official; we are looking for a new A n S minister. Please send all inquires to Baron Bil. All praises to the great people of Stonemarche and all the A n S work that they do. Knotty Crossing * Regular Tuesday meetings were happening, until the term ended. April 15th was the last date the Inn was held. Event Reports: Midsummer's * Kythe * getting people to help was a little difficult this time. The site fee was a misapplied in favor of those attending. But over all things went well. 240 people walked through the front gate. ½ of the profits will need to go to kingdom. Harpers * Shena * Carolyn will be head cook, and she needs an advance quick. There is a day board person, Val is doing merchant control, and there are other positions available. Things are looking good. Baronial Birthday * Master Dorio * the need to start lining people up, is upon him. Birka * Batty * need to check on depost. (Checked, it's already done) New Events: Yule * A bid was placed and accepted by Lady Cassandra, to be held at the Inn of the Knotty Crossing. It will be called 'Search for Father Christmas' There will be a donation for Day Board, there will be no site fee, and the meal will be a Potluck style. Milford Demo * September 8th, 2007.
